Role Overview :
- In this role you will ensure all Service Level Agreements are adhered to and provide the client with a high-
- quality service and drive continuous improvements. You will promote teamwork, provide employees with
- coaching and feedback for a small / medium size team. You will network with other functions and will
- interact with Client Leadership and manage the relationship on local (country) and often on regional level.
As a Team Manager you will be expected to :
Operate at the level of Subject Matter Expert / Controller for the client specific application of the client processesAnalyze and redesign processes within the area of expertise in a specific client business context and drive DGEM alignment within the area of expertiseDrive performance improvement by applying best in practice standards and innovative process improvement methodologiesKeep pace with developments and provides strong expertise of trends and technology solutionsHave a good understanding of the client system architecture, the CG platform blue print and the Automation Drive Suit and articulate advantages & benefits of using the proposed technological solutions in the client contextDrives process improvement through technology related tools within the given area of expertiseApply complex analytical models and problem-solving techniques and methodologies to the specific contextBe aware of the business context for the analyzed data, can draw insights and makes relevant recommendations to deliver valuable outcomes to the clientUnderstand the business, it's volatilities and the impact on organizational finances and services.Implements and advises on measures to mitigate these.Manage effective usage of resources in the service deliveryProposes improvements to innovate and optimize effectiveness within the delivery, offering commercial benefit and operational efficiencyProvide encouragement, feedback and coaching to team members to improve their performanceSet objectives to develop individual in line with assignment, service line targets and personal development needsDelegate to others as required to achieve business goalsDefines the need for new resources within a business contextGeneral Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
As a Team Manager, (subject to the scope of work of your Client) you may be responsible for managing medium size teams to deliver high quality services to your Client. You will also be part of the processes, with the main focus on very complex transactions and resolving complex issues, as well as ensuring that the processes and controls are executed as agreed. You will manage the Client relationship, usually on the process and / or regional level. The responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to :Reviewing and approving of complex General Ledger Journals, Accruals, Provisions, allocations and other entries according to the schedule and agreed Client Desktop ProceduresInitiation of complex accounting entries based on the non standard events and accounting rules not directly described in the Desktop Procedures, but resulting from other Policies and Accounting ManualsReviewing of fixed asset related entries, based on the requests and according to schedule and agreed Client Desktop ProceduresMonitoring of fixed assets related transactions and budgets and contacting the fixed asset owners to initiate the fixed asset capitalizationReviewing of bank statements reconciliationsMonitoring the status of Intercompany reconciliations and agreement of Intercompany balances with counterpartiesMonitoring the status of Intercompany netting / settlementsMonitoring of Period End Close progress, interacting (and escalating if required) with Client's Finance Controllers or Process Owners to ensure timely closure and reportingPreparation and review of Period End Reporting packs (i.e. Trial Balance review) and its review and sign off with Clients Financial ControllersReconciliation of high risk balance sheet accounts and review of medium / high risk reconciliationsReview of operational reports from the area of expertise and adding the analytical insights to itReview of financial, management and statutory reporting and adding the analytical insights to itReview of tax and statutory reportingMonitoring and testing of financial controls, as per Client Controls FrameworkHandling of queries and escalations from Client stakeholdersInteracting with auditors if requiredManage the process and team through Process Health KPI lens and suggest the improvements impacting end to end processes and KPIsQualifications (Education / Experience / Certification) :
Minimum English at CEFR Grade C1 (Advanced) or equivalentEconomic educationPreferably ACCA or CPA certificationCertified in at least 1 DGEM Tech Technology within TowerSkills Required
