Job description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for creating test cases, performing automated tests, and analyzing test results to ensure that software meets or exceeds defined quality standards. You will work closely with developers and other team members to identify defects and ensure timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using various tools and programming languages
  • Design, create, and maintain test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications
  • Identify, report, and track software defects using defect tracking tools
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify and resolve defects
  • Work with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality software
  • Participate in software design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to software testing and automation
  • Provide accurate and timely status reports on testing progress, issues, and risks
  • Assist in the creation of test plans, test strategies, and other project documentation as needed

Key Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in automated software testing
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

    • Preferred :

  • Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC)
  • Experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) tools and processes
  • Experience with mobile and / or web application testing
  • ISTQB or similar software testing certification
