Description : About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Planning & Estimation to lead the planning, scheduling, and estimation activities across multiple ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project timelines, cost projections, material procurement strategies, and ensuring synchronization between site and head office operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee report evaluation and review before publication on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Supervise preparation and evaluation of site-level micro schedules for all projects.
- Prepare and monitor Level 3 Project Schedules and Baseline Plans, ensuring timely progress tracking and updates.
- Modify project schedules and timelines to reflect approved design, execution, and resource changes.
- Develop comprehensive material procurement plans aligned with project schedules and timelines.
- Prepare and submit quarterly cost projections and budget forecasts for ongoing projects.
- Lead coordination for Gudesk preparation, cash-flow planning, and estimation of new and ongoing projects.
- Act as a central coordinator between Head Office and Project Sites, ensuring alignment on deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for resource optimization and project cost efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior planning engineers to ensure adherence to project control standards and best Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Masters or NICMAR certification preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and estimation within construction, contracting, or real estate sectors.
- Proven track record in managing the entire project lifecycle from piling to finishing stages.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel; working knowledge of Primavera (P6) is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of project costing, scheduling techniques, and resource management.
