Job description
Accountant - Taxation

Experience: Minimum 6 months - 1 year

Key Responsibilities

  • GST Compliance: Handle all aspects of GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B filing, and GSTR-2A/2B reconciliation.
  • TDS Management: Manage the calculation of TDS, ensure timely return filing, and perform necessary reconciliations.
  • Income Tax Returns: Prepare and file Income Tax returns accurately and within deadlines.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and conduct ledger scrutiny to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to all statutory laws and regulations related to taxation and accounting.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate with auditors for audits and assessments, providing necessary documentation and support.

Required Skills

  • Taxation Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
  • Accounting Principles: Good grasp of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in taxation or accounting will be an advantage.
