Job Description

Technical Expertise:

• PCB Design for Consumer Products
• Embedded Systems for Consumer Applications or medical device
• Product Design Considerations: EMI/EMC, Signal Integrity.

• Knowledge of the software required for modeling (CAD) and product simulation such as structural mechanical, fluid flow, electronic cooling, low and high frequency electromagnetic simulation.
• Expertise: Need not have hands-on experience, though general information about the software applications and their intended use would be helpful.
• Processes: Familiarity with the design workflows, quality procedures, and project management methods.
• Business Acumen:
• Should be aware about current trends, industry challenges, and opportunities in the consumer electronics market. Understanding of consumer behavior, product lifecycles, and competitive landscape.
• Shall work in tandem with the sales coordinator for winning business for the design center.
• Project Management: Project management skills to oversee design projects by coordinating between the design team and customers.
• Communication and Collaboration: Good communication skills to interact with cluster members, understand their requirements, and present design solutions effectively, with a focus on the specific needs and constraints of consumer product development.
• Education and Experience:
• Education: Bachelor's / master's degree in electrical or electronics engineering, or MSc Electronics.
• Experience: 7-10 years of experience in the consumer products industry, specifically with a focus on the design and development of consumer products and equipment. Prior experience in a leadership or management role is preferred.
