Need stronger skills in designing solutions, especially on the backend side.
Also important to work closely with product teams and improve system design.

2. Client & Pre-Sales Experience

More exposure needed in client interactions, presenting solutions, supporting
pre-sales, and handling delivery activities like POCs and demos.

3. FinTech & AI Usage

Basic FinTech experience is needed. Also important to start using AI tools for
coding, testing, and documentation, and gradually build AI-based solutions.

We will not be going ahead with the two profiles as overall, the
main gap is due to limited exposure beyond mobile development, especially in
backend and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

You will design and govern solutions, establish standards, and collaborate with clients for BaaS, Embedded Financing and Digital Transformation solutions.

Design novel solutions, and enhance existing ones for the core product, by collaborating with various Product Owners and Engineers.

Establish direction for product and tec initiatives.

Collaborate with Pre Sales team to prepare and present solutions to prospective clients.

Run POCs and Demos internally and for prospective clients.

Govern API change management across the whole product.

Manage requirements from clients and co-ordinate with Product teams for requirements.

Collaborate with client counterparts for Infrastructure design, integration, and sizing.

Collaborate with client security team to establish application, data, and infrastructure security.

Own the architectural definition and documentation of the canonical library of features and capabilities.

Design and plan custom solutions for clients and its delivery.

Contribute to and review documentation.

Mentor and guide senior engineers, product owners, client teams, fostering high technical standards and
consistent architectural patterns.

Who You Are:

10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with 3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect

5 years of experience in BFSI domain.

Banking domain knowledge including origination, payments, accounts, party, CRM, reporting, core banking.

Demonstrates ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

Drive adoption of emerging technologies and establish technical standards.

Experience building web services in Java, Kotlin, C#, Python, Go, or JavaScript.

Experience building web applications with frameworks like React, Svelte, Angular.

Foundational understanding of Mobile Development for Android and iOS.

Foundational knowledge in cross-platform technologies like KMP, Flutter, or React Native.

AI assisted coding like Cursor, Windsurf.

Experience with infrastructure sizing, cyber security standards and design for application, data, and infrastructure.

Hands on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

Hands on experience with Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure.

Knowledge with IETF RFC standards.

Diagramming tools like DrawIO, MermaidJS, and PlantUML.
