Job Description :


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mixed Signal Validation Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in mixed-signal IC validation, embedded systems, and hardware debugging. This role involves validating digital and analog subsystems, developing automated test frameworks, and supporting board bring-up activities.


Key Responsibilities :


- Perform validation of Mixed-Signal (Digital & Analog) ICs at block level and system level.


- Develop, execute, and enhance validation test plans and test case coverage based on product requirements.


- Validate microcontroller-based systems, including ARM architecture peripherals and interfaces.


- Support board bring-up, hardware characterization, and system integration activities.


- Debug complex hardware and system-level issues using lab instrumentation and software tools.


- Develop and maintain automated validation frameworks using Embedded C and Python.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, firmware, hardware, and system engineering teams.


- Use collaboration and tracking tools such as Jama, Jira, and Confluence for documentation and issue management.


- Prepare validation reports, debug summaries, and technical Skills & Qualifications :


- Strong engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in Mixed-Signal IC validation.


- Good understanding of Digital and Analog validation methodologies.


- Proficiency in ARM microcontroller architectures and hardware peripheral validation.


- Experience with board bring-up and hardware debugging.


- Strong programming skills in Embedded C and Python.


- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as :


i. Source Measure Units (SMUs)


ii. Digital Multimeters (DMMs)


iii. Logic Analyzers


- Experience in system-level debugging and root-cause analysis.


- Experience developing test automation frameworks and validation infrastructure.


- Ability to understand block-level and system-level requirements and translate them into effective test coverage.


- Familiarity with Jama, Jira, and Confluence.


- Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications :


- Experience working in semiconductor, embedded systems, or SoC validation environments.


- Exposure to scripting and automation for validation workflows.


- Understanding of embedded hardware/software interaction and system integration.
