About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of automated test frameworks for web, mobile, cloud, and API testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in modern automation tools, scripting, and test strategy, and will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and driving automation best practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile (Android / iOS, native and cross-platform), cloud applications, and REST APIs.
Candidate must have extensive experience in designing Automation Test Strategies for multiple projects.
Define, implement, and execute test strategies for functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing.
Develop high-quality automated test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Execute manual and automated verification activities across the product lifecycle.
Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
Mentor and guide junior test engineers, fostering a culture of quality and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, DevOps) to ensure high-quality product releases.
Continuously enhance automation frameworks to increase efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.

Mandatory Skills & Tools

Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, pytest.

Experience with mobile automation (Android / iOS, native and cross-platform frameworks like Appium, Detox, Espresso, XCUITest).

Experience with web automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, WebDriverIO).

Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm).

Strong experience in REST API automation (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Karate, SoapUI).

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).

Programming / scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.

Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).

Experience with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
