Role Title: Quality Engineer, Salesforce

Position Summary:

At Marriott International, we are seeking a highly engaged and motivated Software Quality Engineer to join our fast-paced and high-performing application development team. In this role, the candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality Salesforce applications and integrations through comprehensive testing strategies, both manual and automated. The engineer will work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment to validate functionality, performance, and data integrity across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Salesforce applications
• Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations (Apex, LWC), integrations, and data flows.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand business requirements and technical implementations.
• Implement test automation frameworks and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing across multiple Salesforce environments.
• Analyze test results, log defects, and drive issues to resolution in coordination with engineering teams.
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices, quality metrics, and compliance standards.
• Work in an Agile / Scrum environment and actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Skill and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce platform testing.
• Experience testing Salesforce custom development (Apex, LWC), declarative features, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, TOSCA.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and test documentation.
• Knowledge of Salesforce data models, security configurations, and workflows.
• Salesforce QA or Admin certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder).
• Familiarity with performance and load testing for Salesforce apps.

Good to have:

• Playwright, Tosca tools knowledge.
• Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder, or related).
• Performance or security testing experience for Salesforce applications.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
