Role Description The Professor of Computer Science will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, developing curricula and course materials, and evaluating student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. Day-to-day activities include delivering lectures, conducting labs, mentoring students, supervising academic projects or research, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of advancements in computer science and related fields. The professor will collaborate with academic and industry partners to align course content with current technologies and market requirements, contribute to academic committees, and support CTPL's mission of digital transformation in education. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, requiring regular presence on campus and active participation in academic and institutional activities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, with expertise across core theoretical and applied areas.
• Demonstrated ability in Curriculum Development to design, update, and improve computer science programs and courses.
• Proficiency in Data Science, including data analysis, machine learning concepts, and applied analytics relevant to higher education and industry needs.
• Solid understanding of Cybersecurity principles, practices, and emerging trends to guide learners in secure system and network design.
• Advanced Programming skills in multiple languages and paradigms, with the ability to teach coding, software engineering practices, and problem-solving.
• Relevant academic qualifications, typically a Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• Prior teaching or training experience in higher education or professional settings, with strong classroom management and student mentoring skills.
• Ability to integrate technology-enhanced learning tools, online platforms, and digital resources into teaching practice.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, faculty, and institutional stakeholders.
• Research experience, publications, or industry projects in computer science or EdTech domains are highly beneficial.
