Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Post-Closing QC & Title Curative Specialist to review U.S. mortgage and title documents for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and recording defects. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing complete loan packages, identifying documentation issues, and ensuring all title and mortgage-related documents are properly executed and recorded.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of U.S. mortgage operations, title policies, recording requirements, curative processes, and post-closing quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
Review complete mortgage loan packages and title documents
Examine recorded mortgages, deeds, riders, assignments, and legal documents
Review Title Policies, Commitments, Insurance documents, and Payment Tabs
Identify missing signatures, incorrect notarization, recording defects, legal description issues, and compliance errors
Verify lien positions, vesting information, parcel details, and mortgage accuracy
Review payoff/paydown information and supporting documents
Handle title curative and post-closing defect resolution processes
Ensure all loan documents meet client and recording requirements
Maintain QC standards and ensure accuracy before submission
Coordinate with internal teams for clarification and corrections
Meet daily productivity and quality targets
Required Skills:
Experience in US Mortgage / Title Industry
Knowledge of Post-Closing QC processes
Strong understanding of Title Curative workflows
Familiarity with Mortgage Documents, Title Policies, Riders, Assignments, and Deeds
Ability to identify recording and document defects
Good understanding of legal descriptions and title chains
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
Good communication and reporting skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
