Job descriptionRole Overview The Content Developer will design, develop, and maintain all instructional content, learning assets, and assessment materials for the IT Infrastructure Track. Working closely with the content lead, this individual is responsible for ensuring that every learning artefact – from lecture slides to virtual lab guides - is technically accurate, sectoral-contextualised, and highly personalized to client. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop end-to-end instructional content for IT Infrastructure topics, including participant guides, facilitator manuals, slide decks, and virtual lab workbooks. • Contextualise all technical content to the banking and finance environment. • Develop pre- and post-module assessments, knowledge checks, scenario-based exercises, and action learning project briefs aligned to each module's stated learning outcomes • Create step-by-step virtual lab guides for hands-on environments covering vSphere, Windows/Linux OS hardening, Oracle RAC/SQL Server, Cisco networking, SAN/NAS storage, and DR failover simulation • Build capstone project frameworks and Internal Hackathon briefs that require participants to apply cumulative IT Infrastructure skills to real business challenges. • Package all digital learning assets in LMS-compatible formats; coordinate with the LMS team to ensure seamless upload. • Collaborate with the Trainer to incorporate live delivery feedback into content iterations; maintain a content version log and manage revision cycles. • Conduct quality assurance reviews of all content prior to each module delivery, verifying technical accuracy, regulatory alignment, and instructional coherence • Maintain a master content library across all phases and support post-programme content archiving for future cohort readiness Required Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure roles (server, network, storage, or data centre operations) • Demonstrable experience in instructional design or technical content development — preferably for professional development or certification programmes • Solid understanding of Cybersecurity Framework, Cybersecurity Controls, and data governance requirements in the banking and Finance context • Practical working knowledge of: VMware vSphere/vSAN, Windows Server and Linux administration, Oracle RAC or SQL Server AlwaysOn, Cisco routing/switching (BGP, OSPF), SAN/NAS storage technologies, and basic scripting (Python or Ansible) Preferred Qualifications • Professional certifications in any of: VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+/Server+, Microsoft MCSE, Oracle DBA, ITIL Foundation • Experience developing content for banking or financial services training programmes • Familiarity with virtual lab platforms (e.g. vSphere lab environments, Cisco Packet Tracer, or equivalent) Competencies • Instructional precision — able to convert complex technical content into structured, learner-friendly material without losing accuracy • Regulatory awareness — understands the regulatory underpinning of banking infrastructure and builds compliance into content naturally • Collaboration — works effectively with trainers, SMEs, and programme managers across time zones • Attention to detail — QA-oriented mindset with zero tolerance for technical inaccuracies in published materials • Adaptability — able to revise content rapidly in response to trainer feedback or client requirement changes
