Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Architect with deep technical expertise and strong solutioning ability. The ideal candidate can design end-to-end Salesforce solutions, navigate platform limits, and lead technical decisions across complex, large-scale implementations. This is not a purely advisory role the candidate is expected to actively participate in hands-on coding (Apex, LWC) alongside the development team, lead by example, and contribute directly to solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solutioning
Design and own end-to-end Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Lead high-level and low-level design discussions, translating business requirements into scalable technical blueprints.
Drive decisions on: Flow vs. Apex vs. LWC, Sync vs Async processing, On-platform vs external system processing.
Ensure solutions are optimised for scalability, performance, and Salesforce governor limits.
Strong knowledge of Apex design patterns, salesforce data model, security framework and declarative framework
Data & Security
Design robust data models custom objects, relationships, indexing strategies, and data archival.
Handle Large Data Volume (LDV) scenarios skinny tables, indexed fields, SOQL optimisation, archiving.
Implement and govern the Salesforce security model: Profiles, Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, OWD, Sharing Rules, Field-Level Security.
Development & Technical Leadership
Work closely with IT CRM and business team to analyze requirements, design solutions and plan future releases.
Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across the team.
Ability to lead teams and drive technical discussions
Collaborate with Salesforce developers, Business analysts, Architects and IT SMEs to design and deliver solutions
Have knowledge of deployment using CI/CD pipelines in Devops process
Integration & Middleware
Design integration patterns using MuleSoft or equivalent middleware platforms.
Define API strategies — REST, SOAP, Platform Events, Change Data Capture.
Emerging Technologies (Good to Have)
Agentforce concepts like Topics, Sub-agents, and Prompt Design.
Prompt Builder for AI-powered flows.
Data Cloud: data ingestion, harmonisation, identity resolution.
External data patterns and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) in the Salesforce AI context.
Familiarity with RAG patterns and external data connectivity in AI contexts.
Experience with Einstein AI / Prompt Builder.

Data Cloud
MUST HAVE — Hands-on working experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (ingestion, harmonisation, identity resolution)
Problem Solving
Evaluate trade-offs and recommend optimal solutions
Communication
Clear articulation of decisions to business & technical stakeholders
Experience
10+ years in Salesforce with architecture-level responsibility
