We are looking for a people-first, delivery-focused Engineering Manager to join our growing global engineering team based out of our India Center in Bengaluru. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll be at the heart of shaping engineering culture, driving delivery excellence, and empowering talented engineers to do the best work of their careers.
About the opportunity
As an Engineering Manager, you will own the health, performance, and growth of your engineering team. You'll partner closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, Technical Leads, and QA to deliver high-quality software solutions on a modern SaaS platform trusted by over 1,400 clients across 25+ countries.
Your role is that of an enabler — not a micromanager. You'll create clarity, remove roadblocks, build process where it's missing, and ensure your team is consistently focused on outcomes that matter to customers. You will also be an active voice in our broader Engineering Leadership team, contributing to org-wide initiatives that raise the bar for how we build software globally.
What you'll own
People leadership & career growth
Champion the continuous learning and career development of Software Engineers and Technical Leads. Run regular, meaningful 1:1s, identify top performers, create structured growth plans, and celebrate wins. You'll build a team that's proud of their craft and excited about where they're headed.
Delivery & project management
Own the end-to-end resourcing and delivery plans for your team. Drive project planning, estimation, prioritisation, and timely execution. Lead work breakdown and refinement sessions to ensure engineering effort is always tied to clear requirements and measurable deliverables. Keep stakeholders informed with transparent, proactive communication.
Engineering productivity & continuous improvement
Contribute to tangible, measurable improvements in how your team operates. Foster a culture of continuous improvement — whether that's tightening CI/CD pipelines, improving code review practices, or reducing cycle time. You'll know what good looks like and have the patience and skill to help your team get there.
Engineering leadership & cross-team collaboration
Be an active member of the Engineering Leadership team. Run or contribute to broader engineering initiatives, advocate for cross-cutting improvements, and help shape how engineering works at scale across a global organization.
What we're looking for
Must have
- ✓4+ years managing cross-functional agile software engineering teams
- ✓1+ years working on a SaaS platform in a managerial or senior delivery capacity
- ✓Proven track record of people management with measurable outcomes
- ✓Strong organizational and time management skills with a habit of independent follow-through
Great to have
- +Hands-on experience with .NET / C# (you don't need to write code daily, but speaking your engineers' language matters)
- +Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and modern DevOps practices
- +Understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and SQL/relational databases
- +Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- +Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable working across time zones
