RPMG:Circle Portfolio Manager - Bharat Banking Loans - FF - BE - Tractor Write off

The Retail Portfolio Management Group (RPMG) is responsible for ensuring effective debt servicing by the retail borrowers of the Bank.

The RPMG scope covers Pre-delinquency Management (PDM), Bounce Management, Early Delinquency Management (EDM), Pre-NPA Management, NPA Management and Write-offs. The core objective of RPMG is to improve operating efficiency, optimize cost, insulate reputation risk, ensure regulatory compliance and enhance customer experience.

• Own and govern portfolio performance across multiple clusters and geographies covering Farmer Funding (KCC), Gold Loans, Tractor Loans, MFI, Bharat Enterprises, and allied agri products.
• Ensure achievement of resolution, recovery, rollback, and inventory reduction targets in line with Annual operating plan.
• Drive fresh slippage control and early risk mitigation strategies across portfolios.
• Review portfolio risk trends, vintage behavior, and stress indicators initiate timely corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor Cluster Portfolio Managers, ensuring consistency in execution and governance.
• Drive a highperformance, compliancefocused culture through structured reviews and field engagement.
• Oversee legal actions, auctions, repossession, settlements, and upgrades, ensuring timeliness and effectiveness.
• Review largevalue and sensitive cases support escalation and decisionmaking where required.
• Ensure adherence to Axis Bank code of conduct, RBI guidelines, and audit requirements.
• Drive productivity improvement and cost optimization through structured deployment and monitoring.
• Act as a key stakeholder with Business, Credit, Legal, Operations, BIU, and Strategy teams.

• Graduate / Postgraduate from a recognized institute (MBA preferred).
• 12-15 years of experience in banking or NBFC collections / recovery / rural & agri lending.
• Prior experience managing multiple regions, large portfolios, or leadership roles is essential.
