Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack.Net core, React, SQL, Azure, Gen Ai

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• Frontend: ReactJS
• Backend: .NET / .NET Core (C#)
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor)
• Databases: Microsoft SQL Server
• Architecture: Microservices‑based systems
• Caching: Redis
• Messaging/Eventing: Kafka
• Serve as a technical point of contact for the product during cross‑team collaboration, planning, and design discussions
• Identify and help resolve technical roadblocks related to code quality, build pipelines, deployment processes, and runtime stability
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, support sprint execution, and partner with Scrum Masters to remove technical impediments
• Conduct thorough code reviews, contribute to design discussions, and mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and best practices
• Promote secure coding practices, operational excellence, and adherence to enterprise risk, compliance, and security standards
• Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to influence technical requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and contribute to roadmap planning
• Advocate for and apply DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices to improve developer productivity and delivery speed
• Experiment with and apply emerging technologies, including GenAI, to enhance engineering efficiency and product capabilities
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors or platform teams as needed to integrate or consume shared services
• Participate in on‑call rotations and production incident resolution, contributing to root cause analysis and long‑term remediation
• Continuously upgrade technical skills and share knowledge across the team to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement

Job Expectations:

• Will be required to work in the office as per organizations In Office Adherence / Return to Office (RTO)
• Strong understanding of microservices design, API‑first development, and distributed systems
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies
• Experience ensuring non‑functional requirements (performance, reliability, security, scalability)
• Clear communicator who partners effectively with Product, Architecture, QA, and Operations
• Demonstrated ownership mindset with a bias toward action
