Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on AI Engineering leader to: Co-lead a 50+ member software engineering team along with our Senior Vice President - Technology Services Architect and deliver AI-first healthcare platforms Drive adoption of AI-assisted development (Claude, LLMs, automation tools) Transform the software division into a modern AI-powered engineering organization

This role requires a strong on-site presence in Bengaluru and deep expertise in both: • AI/ML systems (especially LLM-based solutions) • Scalable enterprise software delivery

5. Key Responsibilities

a. AI Strategy & Execution: Define and execute the company’s AI roadmap across: Medical scribing automation AI-assisted medical coding Virtual medical office solution (VMOS) platforms Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Build LLM-powered solutions using tools like Claude and similar platforms Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains

b. Engineering Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale a 70+ engineering team Establish strong engineering practices, coding standards, and delivery discipline Leader in Virtual Medical Office Solutions Drive agile development, DevOps, and CI/CD adoption Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure software delivery

c. AI Adoption & Training Train and enable engineering teams to: Use Claude and other AI tools for coding Automate testing, debugging, and documentation Create internal AI playbooks and best practices Promote a culture of AI-assisted productivity

d. Product & Platform Development Architect and oversee development of: AI medical scribing platforms Clinical NLP systems Coding automation engines VMOS platforms Ensure compliance with US healthcare standards (HIPAA, etc.)

e. Operational Excellence Transition from remote inefficiencies to high-performance on-site delivery Improve: Productivity Turnaround time Quality metrics Establish KPIs and performance dashboards

f. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with: Executive leadership SMEs in each of the operational segments based out of India and US offices Leader in Virtual Medical Office Solutions Translate business needs into technical solutions

6. Key Requirements Experience: 12–20+ years in software engineering 5+ years in AI/ML or LLM-based systems Proven experience managing large engineering teams (50+) Experience in healthcare IT / RCM / clinical systems

7. Technical Skills Strong expertise in: Large Language Models (LLMs) AI coding assistants (Claude, GPT, etc.) Python, Java, or modern backend stacks Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) Experience with: NLP, speech-to-text, clinical data processing API architecture & microservices DevOps and automation pipelines

8. Leadership Skills Strong execution-oriented mindset Ability to drive change and transformation Excellent team-building and mentoring capability High accountability and ownership

9. Work Style Requirement Mandatory full-time on-site presence in Bengaluru Hands-on leadership approach (not purely managerial)

10. Key Deliverables (First 6–12 Months) AI-driven coding practices adopted across the team Functional AI modules for: Medical scribing Coding automation VMOS Improved engineering productivity Strong governance and delivery structure Team upskilled in AI-assisted development

11. Success Metrics Time-to-delivery reduction Code quality improvements AI adoption rate across teams Platform scalability and performance Customer satisfaction (US clients)
