Role Description Deloitte's Global Employer Solutions (GES) Client Technology Delivery Team (CTDT) is seeking a System Developer to help deliver Deloitte's GES technology enabled mobility services to meet Global Client business objectives. Job Description: You will be part of our product delivery team, supporting several different delivery capabilities. You will work alongside other system developers, a technical architect, business analysts, testers, and business team members and report directly to the Product Owner. Your main tasks will include creating technical solutions designs from business requirements, building technical solution to support systems implementations and client delivery, monitoring delivery and operations and collaborating to identify improvement opportunities. Responsibilities: - Design, build and deploy effective data integration solutions - Turn client requirements into technical solution designs - Translate requirements and design technical code - Implement stored procedures, SSIS packages and effective database queries - Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the data integration solution - Design and build of robust reporting solutions from large data sets using either SSRS or data visualization tools such as Qlik - Ensure the best possible performance and quality in the data integration solutions - Provide support and fix issues in the data integration solutions - Monitor and support ongoing operations and regular client deliverables - Be accountable for quality, source control and continuous improvement - Adhere to standards for code development, documentation and version control - Embed test case creation and unit testing in development activities - Evaluate development standards and processes to identify opportunities for improvement - Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. - Actively participate in retrospective and continuous improvement initiatives - Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management - Team with Product Owner and Subject Matter Experts to deliver technology that underpins core services to clients. - Be curious, ask questions and continuously challenge the status quo Skill Requirements: - Writing advanced SQL including some query tuning - Experience in the identification of data quality - Some database design experience is helpful - Experience designing and building complete ETL/SSIS processes moving and transforming data for ODS, Staging, and Data Warehousing - Rendering reports through SSRS - Utilize ad-hoc techniques to perform on-the-fly analysis of data - Proficient in how to deploy to and debug a production data integration environment using SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) including SSIS packages - Some knowledge of C#/VB.NET, web services and experience with ActiveBatch workload automation a plus - Experience in Agile Scrum methodology for development planning and delivery Qualifications And Experience - Full time Masters/Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent from reputed University - 3+ years of problem solving and demonstrated analytical skills - Languages: T-SQL, SSIS Microsoft SSRS, XML, JSON - Excellent communication skills, written and oral - confident in dealing with all levels of clients, both internally and externally - Strong commitment to customer service - High level of attention to detail, ability to execute and deliver project deliverables on budget and on time, and multi-task in a dynamic environment - Comfortable to work with a dynamic team environment where projects, and deadlines often require multi-tasking and flexible work schedules - Self-motivated individuals who can work closely with teams of designers, engineers, and other related personnel while also being able to work independently as needed.
