Job descriptionTitle : Hardware Engineering Intern — SuperAGI Location : Bengaluru (On-site) Duration : 6 months Type : Internship (Full-time)
About the Role As a Hardware Engineering Intern, you’ll work on designing, prototyping, and deploying real-world hardware systems — from IoT devices and edge AI systems to retail and enterprise-grade hardware integrations. This is a hands-on role. You’ll build things that actually get used.
What You’ll Do Design and prototype hardware systems (IoT devices, embedded systems, edge AI units) Work with sensors, microcontrollers, and communication modules (WiFi, BLE, RFID, etc.) Integrate hardware with software systems, APIs, and AI models Assist in PCB design, circuit debugging, and hardware testing Build and iterate on rapid prototypes for real-world use cases (retail, logistics, HR, etc.) Collaborate with software, AI, and product teams to ship end-to-end systems Debug issues across hardware + firmware + system layers
What We’re Looking For Strong fundamentals in electronics, embedded systems, or electrical engineering Experience with microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, etc.) Basic understanding of circuits, sensors, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART) Hands-on mindset — you like building, breaking, and fixing things Familiarity with PCB tools (KiCad, Eagle, Altium) is a plus Exposure to Python/C/C++ for embedded systems is a plus Interest in AI + hardware intersection (edge AI, robotics, smart devices)
Bonus Points Built hardware projects (IoT, robotics, wearables, etc.) Experience with computer vision or edge inference (TensorFlow Lite, ONNX, etc.) Worked with RFID, biometrics, POS systems, or industrial devices Experience integrating hardware with cloud platforms
What You’ll Get Work on real products used by businesses (not toy projects) Exposure to building full-stack systems: hardware + AI + software Fast-paced environment with high ownership Mentorship from engineers building cutting-edge AI systems Opportunity for a full-time role
Why This Role Matters We believe the future isn’t just software — it’s software + hardware + AI working together. This role sits at that intersection.
