Position Name: BEV Assembly Trim Planner Department: Production Planning Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering/ Diploma in Engineering Years of Experience: Diploma–10 Yrs. / B.E.–07 Yrs. Location: Pune Purpose of the Position: Skills required: Series Planning, Installation and Commissioning, Trims, Validation and Line Integration, Stakeholder Management, Brownfield project, Green Field project, Commissioning Planning, Tools and Fixture This position is responsible for planning, leading and executing of Trim, Post CP8 and Screw Technique area for green field and brown field projects, thereof - Evaluate, Plan and execute technology and facility for new and series projects and new variants on Trim assembly and e planning as per the business requirements and defined KPIs along with defined group standards - Evaluate, prioritize, plan and execute proposals for process optimization with help of basic MTM study, technology innovations, improvement opportunities for achieving and improving organizational KPIs. - Evaluates and implements the effect of engineering changes (ECNs, Aekos and PPs) on the manufacturing line as per the defined timeline - Responsible for product and facility life cycle management Skills Required: Critical, Technical & Behavioral Skills (As required for the role) • Planning Competences - Product & Process Know how, product emergence process, Concept /Equipment Planning & Investment evaluation, layout planning, VAI Preparation, Simulation technique • Behavioral Competences – Communication, leadership, Self -Organization, Collaboration, Presentation Skills, Flexibility, Safety • Group Essentials: Code of conduct/Regulations, Organizational procedures, Values, Business/Departmental Strategy / Integrity • Technical Competencies – Fixtures & Manipulator Designs. Screw Technique with Data Management, Design and Process FMEA, Vehicle Bill of Materials, New Technology developments, Lesson Learnt, PHS& ITS Standards, Tightening Process Knowledge • Software/IT Competences - MS office, MS Projects, Arbietsplan, Micro station, AUTO CAD, CATIA, AVON, MTM, Connect & HyperKVS, ESON, GANESH, Synatec System 1.4.7, Tightening System Software’s, Key Roles & responsibilities: 1.Project Planning & Execution (Greenfield/Brownfield, New Models) - Develop manufacturing concepts, layouts, equipment, and business cases aligned with KPIs. - Study TPB/BOM, define processes, lead PFMEA, and drive simultaneous engineering via CFTs. - Plan CAPEX, launch budgets, and support make‑vs‑buy decisions. - Prepare RFQs, technical specifications, techno‑commercial evaluations, and supplier recommendations. - Create project timelines, monitor progress, manage risks, and control engineering changes. 2.Equipment Development & Industrialization - Lead DAP, equipment buy‑off, tryouts, and shipment approvals. - Coordinate installation, commissioning, safety, quality, cycle‑time prove‑outs, and tightening validation. - Plan line‑side logistics, rework areas, and pre‑series builds; manage white books and audits. - Prepare AP, ergonomics studies, SWS, and control plans; support SOP and ramp‑up. 3.Series Planning & Continuous Improvement - Lead productivity, quality, and safety improvement projects. - Manage ECNs, trials, PFMEA reviews, SDMS planning, and tightening concepts. - Prepare business cases and investment proposals for annual planning rounds. 4.General Planning & Governance - Develop local suppliers, ensure ISO/QMS/IT compliance, and maintain technical documentation. - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, manage assets, and support budget control and invoicing.
