The Supply Chain Network Modeler is responsible for analyzing, modeling, and optimizing the cost, capacity, capability, and service performance of the company’s domestic and international supply chain networks. This role designs and executes advanced network, transportation, and inventory models to evaluate strategic supply chain decisions and delivers data-driven recommendations to executive leadership. The Modeler supports Supply Chain Planning & Analytics by leading end-to-end modeling initiatives across buy, make, move, and sell, owning work from project scoping through final executive-ready insights. Restrict to Country: India Management Level: Individual Contributor Job Level: Professional II Job Family: Business Systems Analysis Responsibilities: - Collect, cleanse, validate, and manage large, complex datasets related to supply chain costs, capacities, demand, and service performance, ensuring data integrity and repeatable modeling outputs. - Design, build, and maintain end-to-end supply chain network, transportation, and inventory optimization models using tools such as GAIN Systems, Azure Data Warehouse, Databricks, SQL, and Microsoft Excel. - Perform scenario modeling and simulation to evaluate cost, capacity, service, and inventory trade-offs and assess strategic initiatives including network expansion or consolidation, facility location - changes, transportation strategy shifts, and inventory policy changes. - Translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for Supply Chain and Executive Leadership; develop and deliver executive-level presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint. - Own the full modeling project lifecycle, including scope definition, assumption alignment, timeline management, and delivery; provide regular project status updates and communicate risks, dependencies, and progress to stakeholders. - Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Sales, and other key stakeholders, working closely with the Senior Network Modeler, to gather inputs, validate results, and support implementation of approved strategies. - Support the research, documentation, and implementation of analytical systems and business requirements, working closely with technical teams. • Establishes standardized assumptions, intake processes, and baseline network views to create a repeatable strategic modeling capability. - Present findings directly to VP/SVP-level leadership, clearly articulating assumptions, sensitivities, risks, and tradeoffs; respond to challenge with data-backed rationale. - Adhere to Company compliance and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies; maintain regular and reliable attendance; perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Proven ability to scope, manage, and deliver analytical projects on time, including providing regular status updates. - Strong expertise in extracting, transforming, and managing supply chain data using ETL tools above. - Ability to translate complex supply chain and analytical concepts into clear, concise insights for diverse stakeholders. - Self-motivated professional with strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence outcomes. - Demonstrated passion for supply chain optimization and continuous improvement. - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field, with 7+ years of experience in strategic network, inventory, or transportation modeling in a high-volume, fast-paced environment preferred. • Prior experience with optimization, mathematical and simulation modeling, and operations research techniques, including statistical analysis, preferred.
