Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Technical Marketing Engineer to join our team in India. This role will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our technical product capabilities and our marketing initiatives, creating compelling technical content that resonates with technical personas (SREs, DevOps, platform engineers, developers) at the practitioner and decision-making level.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation

• Develop high-quality technical blog posts, tutorials, and documentation that showcase StackGen's capabilities and best practices
• Create engaging demo videos, screencasts, and video tutorials demonstrating product features and use cases
• Write technical case studies highlighting customer success stories and implementation patterns
• Produce white papers, technical guides, and solution briefs for various audience segments

Technical Demonstrations

• Build and maintain demo applications and proof-of-concepts that showcase StackGen's value proposition
• Design and deliver technical presentations for webinars, virtual events, and conferences
• Create interactive demos and sandbox environments for prospects and customers
• Develop reference architectures and implementation templates

Developer Relations

• Engage with the developer community through technical forums, social media, and community platforms
• Gather feedback from technical users to inform product and content strategy
• Contribute to open-source projects and community initiatives related to StackGen
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify content opportunities

Collaboration

• Work closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to understand technical capabilities and customer needs
• Partner with the marketing team to align content with campaign objectives and messaging and reviews
• Collaborate with Customer Success to identify compelling customer stories and use cases
• Support sales engineering with technical collateral and competitive positioning materials

Required QualificationsTechnical Skills

• Strong software development background with hands-on coding experience (Python, JavaScript, Go, or similar)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development workflows
• Familiarity with incident response, on-call SRE practices, and observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures

Content & Communication Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience creating technical content (blogs, videos, documentation, presentations)
• Strong storytelling abilities with attention to detail and accuracy

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role (software engineering or solutions architecture backgrounds also considered)
• 1–2 years of experience in technical marketing, developer relations, or technical content creation
• Demonstrated portfolio of technical content (blog posts, videos, GitHub repositories, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, or related domains
• Experience with video editing tools (basic such as ScreenStudio, more advanced such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Familiarity with content management systems and marketing automation platforms
• Understanding of SEO best practices for technical content
• Public speaking experience at technical conferences or meetups
• Active presence in developer communities (GitHub, Stack Overflow, Twitter, etc.)
