Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Power Platform QA Engineer with hands-on experience in testing Microsoft Power Platform applications, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of enterprise applications through effective testing strategies.This role requires strong expertise in functional, integration, and UAT testing, along with experience in validating workflows, dashboards, and system integrations.
This is a full-time, Remote in Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
· Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
· Test Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards
· Identify defects, log bugs, and validate fixes
· Collaborate with developers and stakeholders for requirement clarity and defect resolution
· Test integrations with Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Azure, ServiceNow, and custom APIs
· Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and system reliability
· Participate in test documentation and reporting
Required Skills & Experience:
· 3–7 years of experience in QA/testing
· Minimum 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365
· Hands-on experience with:
o Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven)
o Power Automate
o Power BI
o Dataverse
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Good communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Skills
· Microsoft certifications such as:
PL-900 (Power Platform Fundamentals)
PL-200 / PL-400
· Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
· Experience with API testing tools
· Exposure to AI-driven testing tools
· Experience in Banking / Finance domain
Relevant Experience Preferred
· Experience testing Power Platform-based enterprise applications
· Experience validating system integrations and workflows
· Experience ensuring data security and compliance standards
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
