Satellite Teams is looking for a Director – Technology Program Delivery to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale technology, data, and analytics initiatives for an international client. This role is responsible for driving program execution across cross‑functional teams, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.

Reporting to the VP / Chief Data & Technology Officer, the Director will provide senior‑level leadership across complex programs, oversee delivery governance, and partner closely with technical and business stakeholders to enable scalable, data‑driven decision‑making. This role requires strong expertise in program delivery, Agile methodologies, technology leadership, and executive stakeholder management within a remote, globally distributed environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Program & Delivery Leadership

· Lead the execution of complex, cross-functional technology and data programs from planning through delivery.

· Own end-to-end program governance, delivery timelines, budget tracking, risk management, and execution quality.

· Ensure projects are delivered using Agile methodologies and industry best practices.

· Anticipate delivery risks and proactively escalate issues, dependencies, or scope changes that may impact outcomes.

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

· Facilitate weekly project status meetings with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

· Partner with business leaders to understand objectives, challenges, and priorities.

· Provide clear, concise program updates and executive-level reporting to senior leadership.

· Maintain strong collaboration with external partners and vendors to support seamless delivery.

Data & Technology Strategy Enablement

· Develop and advocate for a clear vision, strategy, and roadmap for end-to-end data and analytics infrastructure.

· Support prioritization of high-impact initiatives that drive business value through actionable data insights.

· Oversee analytics and data initiatives from ideation and proof-of-concept through production deployment.

· Collaborate with Data, Engineering, Cloud, and Security teams to ensure scalable and secure solutions.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

· Provide leadership and guidance to multi-disciplinary delivery teams, including internal teams and third-party vendors.

· Enable collaboration across Project Managers, Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Data Scientists, and IT Security teams.

· Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused communication for non-technical stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· 10+ years of experience in project or program management within a technology‑driven environment.

· Proven success delivering large, complex technology programs using Agile methodologies.

· Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle in cloud‑based environments.

· Hands‑on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

· Experience leading and coordinating large, multi‑functional teams (20–30+ members).

· Ability to assess complex technical risks and objectively escalate concerns to executive leadership.

· Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills with high attention to detail.

· Results‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

· General understanding of:

o Data analytics and platforms

o ETL and data pipelines

o Data visualization tools

o Cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent)

o DevOps and DataOps practices

o Python, SQL, and containerization concepts

· Experience supporting organizations scaling data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.

· Strong ability to bring clarity and structure to complex, data‑heavy environments.

· Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think strategically while executing tactically.

· Proven effectiveness working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
