We are looking for a strategic HR leader who can drive organizational effectiveness, talent transformation, leadership hiring, performance management, and HR business partnering across multiple business verticals.
Role Overview
The GM / Head – Human Resources & People Strategy will act as a strategic HR partner to leadership and business heads, driving organization-wide HR initiatives focused on:
- HR strategy and transformation
- Talent acquisition and employer branding
- Performance management systems
- Compensation and rewards framework
- Leadership hiring and succession planning
- Organizational development and employee engagement
- HR analytics and workforce planning
This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, execution capability, business partnering, and high-growth organization experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Partner closely with promoters, business heads, and leadership teams to align HR strategy with organizational goals
- Drive workforce planning and organizational design across functions
- Act as a trusted advisor on:
- Talent strategy
- Team structuring
- Leadership capability building
- Employee performance and engagement
- Support business expansion and scaling initiatives through effective people practices
2. Performance Management & KPI Framework
- Design and institutionalize organization-wide Performance Management Systems (PMS)
- Develop role-based KPIs and measurable performance metrics across departments
- Implement structured review cycles, feedback mechanisms, and performance calibration frameworks
- Drive a culture of accountability, meritocracy, and measurable outcomes
- Build automated HR dashboards and performance reporting systems
3. Talent Acquisition & Leadership Hiring
- Lead strategic hiring initiatives across:
- Corporate functions
- Hospitality operations
- Wellness and healthcare verticals
- Real estate and project teams
- Build strong leadership hiring pipelines for mid and senior management roles
- Develop employer branding strategies across LinkedIn and digital platforms
- Strengthen recruitment processes through structured assessments and competency-based interviews
- Drive campus hiring initiatives from premier institutions
4. Compensation, Rewards & HR Governance
- Develop compensation benchmarking and structured salary band frameworks
- Ensure market-aligned and internally equitable compensation structures
- Design reward and retention strategies for high performers and leadership talent
- Support budgeting and manpower cost optimization initiatives
- Ensure HR policies and governance frameworks are aligned with organizational growth
5. Organizational Development & Employee Engagement
- Build leadership development and succession planning initiatives
- Drive employee engagement and culture-building programs
- Implement mentoring, coaching, and capability development interventions
- Strengthen employee experience across the lifecycle:
- Onboarding
- Learning and development
- Career progression
- Retention
- Promote a high-performance and collaborative work culture
6. HR Analytics & Decision Support
- Build HR dashboards and workforce analytics systems
- Track key HR metrics including:
- Attrition
- Hiring efficiency
- Employee productivity
- Engagement scores
- Compensation benchmarking
- Generate data-driven insights for management decision-making
- Support leadership with strategic manpower planning and organizational reports
7. HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee HR operations, policy implementation, and compliance frameworks
- Ensure smooth HR processes across multiple business verticals and locations
- Strengthen SOPs and operational HR governance systems
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices
Required Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in Human Resources, HRBP, or People Strategy roles
- Proven experience in high-growth organizations, startups, consulting, hospitality, healthcare, or multi-business environments
- Strong expertise in:
- HR Business Partnering
- PMS & KPI frameworks
- Compensation design
- Leadership hiring
- Organizational development
- Experience managing large and diverse workforce structures
Preferred Background
- Experience in Hospitality, Real Estate, Healthcare, Consulting, or Startup ecosystems
- Exposure to fast-scaling and transformation-driven organizations
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership advisory capability
- MBA / PGDM / Executive HR qualification from reputed institutions preferred
