Role Description: We are looking for a creative, camera-friendly, and execution-focused Social Media Manager who can both strategize and create high-performing short-form video content (Reels/Shorts). This is a hands-on role requiring ideation, shooting, editing, and publishing content to drive engagement and growth. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand and business goals - Conceptualize, shoot, and edit reels/short-form videos for platforms like Instagram and YouTube - Actively participate in or direct shoots (with students, educators, or team members) - Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms - Stay on top of trends, audio, and formats to create viral/engaging content - Optimize posts using SEO and SMO best practices - Monitor performance metrics and refine content strategy based on insights - Collaborate with content, design, and marketing teams for campaigns - Manage comments, DMs, and community engagement Qualifications & Skills - Proven experience in social media management + short-form video content creation - Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and trending formats - Basic to intermediate skills in video shooting and editing (mobile-first is fine) - Familiarity with tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, VN, or similar - Strong storytelling, scripting, and on-ground execution ability - Excellent communication and copywriting skills - Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools - Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred) - Experience in edtech or youth-focused content is a plus Bonus : - Comfortable being on camera when needed - Experience working with influencers or creators - Basic understanding of performance marketing or paid social Why Join Us? - Opportunity to build a brand through content, not just manage it - Creative ownership and freedom to experiment - Work closely with educators, creators, and students - Fast-growing, high-impact startup environment
