Job description
Position: Finance Specialist - Invoicing (US, UK & Canada) Location: Pune Shift Time: 6:30PM-3:30AM IST (US Shift) Employment Type: Full Time/Onsite role Stratacent is looking for a finance professional with strong experience in client invoicing, accounts receivable, and billing operations, preferably in an IT services / IT staffing environment. The role focuses on managing end-to-end invoicing cycles, collections, and financial accuracy. Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end client invoicing and billing cycles Generate invoices based on timesheets / billable hours / contracts Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) including collections and follow-ups Perform reconciliations (bank, customer accounts, invoices) Track outstanding payments, aging reports, and resolve discrepancies Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams (HR/Delivery/Payroll) Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks / similar tools Support month-end close and reporting activities Required: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. Must Have: Experience in client invoicing / billing (AR side) Exposure to timesheet-based invoicing / contract billing Background in IT services / IT staffing / KPO (US accounting) Hands-on with QuickBooks / similar tools Good communication for client interaction and follow-ups Preferred Qualifications: - Certified Bookkeeper designation (e.g., AIPB or NACPB) is a plus.
