PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Technical User Support Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for employees Respond to IT service requests and ensure timely resolution Manage system updates and software installations IT Infrastructure Network Management Supervise network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place including firewalls and antivirus updates IT Asset Inventory Management Track and manage IT assets including laptops desktops and peripherals Ensure proper procurement and disposal of outdated equipment Maintain an updated inventory of software licenses IT Audits Compliance Conduct routine system audits to ensure compliance with security policies Implement best practices for data protection and regulatory compliance Identify gaps and recommend improvements Create and maintain documentation for processes and SOPs Collaboration Vendor Management Coordinate with external vendors for IT services and support Negotiate contracts and ensure service-level agreements are met Work with department heads to align IT strategies Team Leadership and Development Assigning tasks setting priorities and overseeing daily operations Ensuring that team members have the tools and resources needed to perform their tasks effectively Investing in the professional growth of their team members by identifying training opportunities certifications and skill-building activities Encouraging team members to stay up-to-date with industry trends Strategic Planning Project Management Plan and implement IT projects including system upgrades and new technology adoption Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance business operations Develop IT policies and training programs for employees
