Job description: GIDEON Informatics is a growing online medical software and bioinformatics company whose success is rooted in its highly diverse global scientific team. We seek an experienced, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Medical Researcher to help us serve our user community of public health, microbiology, and point-of-care professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a diligent, analytical individual to help advance the global effort against infectious diseases by becoming a key part of the GIDEON scientific team. The company is fully remote, so you will be responsible for your own work schedule, allowing you to enjoy a better work/life balance. Working hours:

Flexible, but candidates must be available for periodic team meetings during IST (Indian Standard Time) business hours. Starting pay range:

₹7.8-11.4 Lakhs per annum (LPA) Job start date:

01 June 2026

Responsibilities: Conduct secondary research to supplement and enhance existing data Enter new data into the expert computer system Critically review existing datasets for errors and proactively fix them Implement amendments as required by the supervising editor Please note: This is a scientific research role, not medical coding or transcription.

Are you our ideal candidate? Get in touch if you meet the following criteria: Possess outstanding written English skills Are fluent in spoken English (C2 level is a must) Are able to write in American English Can demonstrate meticulous attention to detail Have previous research experience Can analyze large amounts of scientific text to extract the relevant information You are a competent and avid reader of medical literature Possess intermediate computer literacy (skilled with using programs such as Word and Excel) Interest in the field of infectious diseases will be highly advantageous A background in medicine or epidemiology will be highly advantageous
