ABOUT THE COMPANY
Big Bang Boom Solutions (BBBS) is a Chennai-based deep-tech defence startup focused on developing indigenous defence and security technologies. It operates as a defence solutions integrator that builds advanced systems in areas such as artificial intelligence, UAS/drone technology, electronic warfare, material science, propulsion, communication systems, and data security, aiming to create intellectual property for national defence applications.
BBBS develops products such as anti-drone defence systems, see-through armour interfaces, smart surveillance platforms, and other custom defence technologies. The company has participated in and won multiple iDEX challenges sponsored by the Indian Ministry of Defence, receiving government grants and contracts.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a founding PMO hire. The Senior Project Manager – JV Programs owns end-to-end delivery of JV-driven development programs spanning hardware, software, systems, aerospace platforms, defence electronics, and materials science.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Ownership & Delivery
• Own end-to-end JV development lifecycle
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality
• Drive delivery across internal and partner teams
JV Coordination & Partner Management
• Act as primary liaison with JV partners
• Conduct reviews, joint planning, and site visits
• Manage formal communications and documentation
Tracking & Reporting
• Maintain IMS, risk registers, issue logs
• Provide executive reporting and dashboards
Risk & Issue Management
• Identify technical and programmatic risks
• Drive mitigation and timely escalation
PMO SETUP
• Design PMO processes, templates, governance
• Define JV best practices
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 8–12 years in program management
• Defence, aerospace, or complex systems experience
• JV / partnership program experience
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
• Strong engineering foundation
• Hardware, embedded, aerospace lifecycle knowledge
• Systems engineering principles
• MS Project, JIRA proficiency
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent domestic and international travel required. Valid passport mandatory
