Job Purpose:The Package Incharge MHE, Lifts, and Escalators is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of material handling equipment, lifts, and escalators. This includes overseeing preventive maintenance, managing repairs, ensuring safety and compliance, handling spare parts procurement, and supporting continuous improvement efforts to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
Safety and Compliance:
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety, industry, and environmental regulations.
MHE, Lifts, And Escalators Maintenance Management
- Oversee the maintenance of MHE, lifts, and escalators to ensure all equipment runs smoothly and supports production and logistics operations.
Preventive Maintenance Program Implementation
- Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
Emergency Response And Troubleshooting
- Lead rapid troubleshooting for equipment failures to minimize downtime and maintain safe working conditions.
Spare Parts Management And Procurement
- Oversee spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components for timely repairs and minimizing production delays.
Documentation And Maintenance Records
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and service reports using a CMMS for tracking.
Continuous Improvement Of Equipment Performance
- Identify areas to improve performance and efficiency, including energy-saving initiatives and technology upgrades.
Installation And Commissioning Of New Equipment
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper integration with existing systems.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Work Experience (Range Of Years)
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in maintenance management, specifically with MHE, lifts, and escalators, in an industrial or facilities management setting.
