Job Overview
We are seeking a few Data Engineers with hands on experience spanning Data Engineering and Business Intelligence, with strong expertise in Power BI and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate will be capable of designing, building, and managing end to end analytical data solutions, transforming raw data into scalable, governed, and high performance analytics that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Data Solution Architecture
• Design and architect end to end analytics solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and reporting layers.
• Develop and maintain robust data models (star/snowflake schemas) optimized for analytics and BI consumption.
• Ensure alignment of data architecture with organizational reporting and governance standards.
• Comfortable working with Azure DevOps and delivering solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Data Engineering Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data ingestion and transformation.
• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and modern data stacks (e.g., Databricks).
• Handle structured and semi structured data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and reconciliation across pipelines and databases.
• Implement CI/CD, monitoring, and logging for data pipelines.
• Optimize data processing performance and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks in data pipelines and transformations.
• Foster best practices in data engineering and analytics development.
Power BI & BI Development Responsibilities
• Design, develop, deploy, and manage enterprise Power BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and datasets.
• Create interactive, intuitive, and business centric visualizations tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Develop semantic models and optimize datasets for self service analytics.
• Optimize Power BI performance using DAX, Power Query, query folding, aggregations, and dataflows.
• Validate data sanity and ensure consistency across reports and source systems.
• Implement and manage Row Level Security (RLS) and Power BI workspace governance.
• Perform root cause analysis for data inconsistencies and anomalies.
• Manage Power BI Service components (workspaces, gateways, deployments).
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Partner with business users to define KPIs, metrics, and analytical use cases.
• Educate non technical stakeholders on data usage, self service analytics, and insights interpretation.
• Support UAT, audits, and management reviews.
Performance Optimization & Leadership
• Continuously monitor and enhance system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across data pipelines, queries, and dashboards.
• Lead and mentor BI / analytics developers, promoting best practices in data modeling, visualization, and engineering.
• Contribute to analytics standards, documentation, and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Technical Skills
• Power BI Expertise: Advanced DAX, Power Query, dataflows, Power BI Service (workspaces, gateways, RLS).
• Data Engineering: Strong SQL, Spark SQL, Python, PySpark, ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Data Modeling: Expertise in relational and analytical data models (star/snowflake).
• Cloud & Platforms: Experience with Azure data services and Databricks (preferred).
• Performance Optimization: Query tuning, aggregation strategies, pipeline optimization.
• Data Governance: Data quality, validation, lineage, and security best practices.
