Function: SAP Practice / Cloud Transformation Seniority: Senior / Lead (8+ years total IT, 4+ years SAP S/4HANA) Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Hybrid — Client Site/ Remote Reports To: Delivery Director/ Practice Head Travel Requirement: Up to 40% (For Client Engagements ) About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Pre Sales Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition to lead end-to-end cloud transformation programs. In this dual-capacity role, you will drive successful delivery of S/4HANA Cloud implementations while actively supporting our business development and presales efforts engaging clients during the sales cycle, shaping solution approaches, and contributing to winning proposals. You will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, bringing a unique blend of delivery rigor and commercial acumen to every engagement. This is an opportunity to shape both project outcomes and the growth trajectory of our SAP practice. Key Responsibilities A. Project Delivery •Lead full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public implementations from Prepare through Deploy, using SAP Activate methodology. •Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks across multi-track, multi-workstream programs. •Define and govern project governance frameworks including steering committee cadence, RAID logs, and change control processes. • Act as the primary point of contact for client executives (CFO, CIO, COO) throughout the engagement. • Coordinate cross-functional teams including functional consultants, technical architects, integration leads, and change management specialists. • Manage relationships with SAP, hyper scaler partners (AWS/Azure/GCP), and third-party vendors. •Drive adoption and benefit realization, including post-go-live hyper care and transition to BAU operations. •Ensure compliance with quality gates, SAP's Project Experience (PX) standards, and client governance requirements. • Proactively identify scope creep, resource constraints, and delivery blockers — escalating and resolving with urgency. B. Presales •Partner with Sales and Solution Architects during the pursuit phase to shape proposal strategy, solution narratives, and commercial models. •Lead or contribute to RFP/RFI responses, orals presentations, and client discovery workshops. •Develop effort estimation models, project plans, and staffing proposals for S/4HANA Cloud opportunities. •Articulate the business value of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition to prospective clients, translating technical capability into business outcomes. •Build and maintain a repository of reusable presales assets: project plans, cost models, case studies, and reference architectures. •Represent the practice at SAP events, industry conferences, and client briefings as a subject matter expert. •Collaborate with the Practice Head to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. Required Qualifications Experience • 8+ years in IT project/program management; minimum 4 years leading SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementations. •Demonstrated experience delivering at least 3 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public projects (end-to-end, not advisory only). •Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology — Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run. •Prior involvement in presales activities: proposal writing, effort estimation, client workshops, or solution demonstrations. •Experience managing budgets of $2M+ and teams of 15+ across global or multi-location programs. Technical Knowledge •Strong functional understanding of S/4HANA Cloud Public modules: Finance (FI/CO), Procurement (MM/SRM), Sales (SD/OTC), or Supply Chain (PP/WM/EWM). •Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), integration middleware (SAP Integration Suite / CPI), and extensibility concepts. •Knowledge of fit-to-standard analysis, clean core principles, and SAP roadmap cadence (quarterly releases). •Understanding of cloud data migration tools: SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, and data validation best practices. •Awareness of SAP's Move to Cloud licensing models (RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP) and commercial constructs. Certifications • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 Practitioner. • SAP Certified Associate: SAP Activate Project Manager or equivalent SAP cloud certification. Preferred Qualifications • SAP Partner Center of Expertise (PCoE) experience or delivery at an SAP Consulting Partner. • Experience with organizational change management frameworks within SAP programs. • Exposure to industry-specific S/4HANA Cloud configurations. • MBA or degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. • Experience using project management platforms: SAP Cloud ALM, Jira, MS Project, or Smartsheet. • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, or other LoB cloud solutions deployed alongside S/4HANA.
