Role: Political Social Media Manager (Political Campaigns & Public Engagement)
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Political Social Media Manager who will lead digital communication and engagement strategies, especially for political and public-focused campaigns.
We are looking for someone who understands political narratives, public sentiment, and grassroots communication, and can translate them into impactful digital content.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute social media strategies for political and public campaigns
• Create, manage, and scale content across platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube)
• Monitor public sentiment, trends, and narratives to align communication strategy
• Collaborate with on-ground teams to amplify grassroots campaigns digitally
• Manage crisis communication and real-time response strategies
• Plan and execute high-engagement campaigns, reels, and storytelling content
• Work closely with design, content, and PR teams for consistent messaging
• Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, sentiment) and optimize campaigns
• Ensure all communication aligns with party/government guidelines and compliance
Requirements
• 2–5 years of experience in political social media management
• Prior experience with political parties, campaigns, or public policy communication is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of Indian political landscape & audience behavior
• Expertise in content strategy, reels, and viral formats
• Ability to handle high-pressure, fast-moving campaign environments
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
Bonus (Good to Have)
• Experience in election campaigns or political consulting firms
• Understanding of regional audience targeting & vernacular content
• Hands-on with tools like Meta Ads, analytics dashboards, social listening tools
