Headquartered in Morrisville, NC, USA, with operations spanning North America, EMEA, and APAC regions Website: We are hiring Payroll Specialist with 3-5 years of strong hands-on payroll processing experience Payroll Specialist ensures accurate, timely payroll for India. The role requires a good knowledge of Indian payroll rules, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast growing, and globally distributed organization. Roles & Responsibilities: Payroll Processing • 3-5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience within India. • Manage monthly payroll for India, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Support with other APAC payrolls as required. • Validate and input payroll data including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, leave, incentives, and deductions. • Review gross to net calculations and reconcile payroll outputs. Statutory Compliance (India) • Ensure full statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and Income Tax (TDS). • Prepare and support statutory filings and ensure timely remittance of all statutory payments. • Monitor updates to payroll legislation and implement process changes as required. Vendor & Stakeholder Management • Work closely with external payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services. • Provide complete and accurate payroll inputs and review vendor outputs in detail. • Serve as a point of contact for HR, Finance, and employees on payroll-related matters. Audit & Controls • Support the Senior Manager - Payroll with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and explaining payroll processes. • Maintain strong internal controls to ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. • Assist with monthly reconciliations, variance analysis, and exception reporting. Process Improvement & Projects • Identify opportunities to improve payroll efficiency, automation, and accuracy. • Participate in payroll system implementation, updates, and global process improvement initiatives. • Contribute to cross-training efforts and support APAC payroll processing when required.
