Job Purpose: This position oversees one of the major technology platforms (pathology, digital pathology and IHC) and is into clinical biomarker assay development, validation and analysis. Key Responsibilities: 1. Working in a team of pathologists, provide Clinical Pathology support to programs/projects at BBRC in close collaboration with the BMS pathology team. 2. Responsible for the development of IHC/ISH assay development, qualification/validation and sample analysis. 3. Works in close collaboration with the scientist/pathologists onsite to support translational pathology and immunohistochemistry workflows. 4. Support ongoing translational R&D projects in collaboration with the hospital network. 5. Undergo self-training and support the digital pathology workflow under the supervision of senior pathologists. 6. Actively participate in SOP preparation and maintenance, also support, and periodically review Inventory management. Educational Qualification: MBBS,MD/DNB Pathology Technical/functional Skills: 1. Hands-on experience in pathology/IHC working in the hospital or corporate (pharma/technology) setting. 2. Hands-on experience/ basic knowledge of IHC is required. 3. Knowledge of Digital pathology is desired. 4. Experience in oncology and/or other therapeutic areas along with handling clinical samples, and clinical programs is essential. 5. Experience of working in a regulated laboratory setting (CAP/NABL or other GxP environment) is good to have. Experience: Around 4 to 8 yrs of relevant experience in histopathology/IHC, working in research settings, academia, and corporate (Hospitals/Pharma).
