Role Overview:
The Head of Human Resources will lead and manage the HR function across all institutions, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals. This role requires a visionary leader capable of driving cultural transformation, optimizing talent management processes, ensuring compliance, and fostering a high-performing, inclusive work environment across campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Organizational Development
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the institution's mission and long-term objectives.
- Formulate policies and frameworks that enhance operational efficiency and organizational culture.
- Partner with leadership teams to advise on HR strategy and people development initiatives.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for faculty, administrative, and support functions across institutions.
- Collaborate with department heads to assess workforce requirements and succession planning.
- Strengthen the employer brand to attract and retain top talent.
Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture
- Build a culture of inclusivity, transparency, and high performance.
- Design and execute engagement initiatives, mentorship programs, and wellness activities.
- Address employee grievances promptly, ensuring fairness and trust in HR processes.
Performance Management & Professional Development
- Establish performance appraisal systems, goal-setting frameworks, and continuous feedback mechanisms.
- Drive professional and leadership development programs for faculty and staff.
- Support learning initiatives that enhance individual and institutional capabilities.
HR Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure full compliance with labor laws, educational regulations, and institutional HR standards.
- Oversee payroll management, benefits administration, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain HR documentation and uphold data security and confidentiality.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
- Promote diversity and inclusion across all levels of the organization.
- Implement policies that ensure equal opportunity and equitable practices.
HR Technology & Data Management
- Deploy and manage HR technology systems to streamline HR processes.
- Utilize HR analytics to track employee performance, engagement, and retention for data-driven decisions.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within education or corporate HR.
- In-depth understanding of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven expertise in strategic HR leadership, talent management, and organizational development.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Skilled in conflict management, change leadership, and fostering collaboration.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
