Material Specialist – Specification Sales

About the Role

Curoq is looking for a Material Specialist to drive specification-led sales by working closely with architects, designers, consultants, and clients. This role combines technical material knowledge, relationship management, and sales execution, playing a key role in growing Curoq's presence across architectural and interior projects in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct meetings with architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers

Present and specify Curoq materials in live and upcoming projects

Provide material recommendations, samples, and technical support

Ensure Curoq materials are included in BOQs, drawings, and specifications

Track specified projects and convert them into confirmed sales

Manage client servicing from specification to order execution

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Build long-term relationships and generate repeat business.

Requirements

Background in building materials, architecture, interior design, civil engineering, or related fields

Experience in specification sales / architect-focused sales preferred

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Good understanding of architectural materials and project workflows

Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with fieldwork.

Preferred Profile

Existing network of architects and design firms in Mumbai

Experience handling architectural or interior projects end-to-end

Passion for design, materials, and client engagement.
