Presales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with account managers to understand customer requirements and propose suitable infrastructure solutions.
• Design IT infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, backup, virtualization, and disaster recovery.
• Conduct technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions for clients.
• Prepare and deliver solution architecture documents, bill of materials (BoM), and technical responses for RFPs/RFIs.
• Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle as the go-to technical expert.
• Collaborate with OEMs and vendors to create competitive and technically sound proposals.
• Stay updated with the latest trends of IT infra-structure industry.
• Build trusted relationships with customers by providing insights and best practices.

Core Technologies:

• Servers & Compute: Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS, Lenovo, etc.
• Storage Solutions: SAN/NAS, All-Flash, Hybrid Storage (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, etc.)
• Backup & DR: Veeam, Commvault, Veritas, or any other established Backup software
• Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix.
• Networking Basics: Switches, VLANs, IP planning (preferred)
• Monitoring & Management: Tools like SolarWinds, Open Text, Motadata or OEM-specific tools

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BE/ Btech/ MCA / Graduates in Science stream.
• Atleast 6+ years in a pre-sales, systems engineering, or infrastructure consulting role.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure architecture and components.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand customer environments and propose scalable, cost-effective solutions.
• Strong documentation and proposal-writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Different OEMs certification in the area of server, storage and virtualisation.
• Experience in designing solutions related to data center, Data center migration, consolidation, or hybrid cloud
• Knowledge of industry compliance and security standards (ISO, NIST, etc.)
