Senior Quality Engineer - Automotive Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Control Plans, PFMEA, Work Instructions, and Inspection Check Sheets.
• Lead structured problem-solving efforts using 8D
• Drive root cause analysis and monitor implementation and effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Define and manage First Article Inspection (FAI) and Final Product Inspection protocols.
• Develop and maintain Quality Reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Defect Pareto Analysis.
• Work with suppliers to address component quality problems and lead incoming inspection improvements.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities.
• Train operators and junior engineers on quality procedures and best practices.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement (Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma)

Qualifications

• Strong experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• Experience in automotive manufacturing is highly desirable
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements
