Tax Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Tax Specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their expertise.
• Oversee the review of workpapers for foreign, U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and direct responses to tax-related correspondence, including notices and investor/investment tax inquiries.
• Supervise investor due diligence and onboarding processes to maintain regulatory and operational standards.
• Oversee the collection, tracking, and monitoring of tax reporting from underlying investments.
• Collaborate with external service providers to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, or business from an accredited institution with a strong academic record.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in a financial institution or Big 4 accounting firm, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• In-depth expertise in U.S. partnership taxation, preferably with a focus on private equity.
