About The Opportunity
Healthcare — Specialty Outpatient Services: Join a busy gastroenterology consultant clinic serving patients in Indiranagar, Bangalore. This on-site role supports high-quality patient care by managing front-desk operations, appointment flow, and clinic communications in a fast-paced private practice environment.
Primary Title (best-performing on job platforms): Medical Receptionist (Clinic Receptionist)
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors; manage check-ins and ensure a courteous, private reception experience.
- Handle appointment scheduling and confirmations via phone, WhatsApp, and clinic software to optimise daily patient flow.
- Complete patient registration, verify demographic details, and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
- Process payments, generate invoices, manage cash receipts, and coordinate basic insurance verification where applicable.
- Answer multi-line phone systems, triage calls to the gastroenterologist or nursing staff, and escalate clinical concerns per clinic protocol.
- Maintain reception area standards, manage inventory of patient forms and stationery, and support basic administrative tasks for the consulting team.
