We're looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) based in India to support the financial strategy and oversight for both ventures. This is an on-demand, remote consulting opportunity, ideal for a CA who enjoys working across industries and values flexibility.

Role Overview:

As our CA consultant, you'll play a strategic financial advisory role — reviewing financials, ensuring compliance, supporting planning and reporting, and guiding our junior team member who handles day-to-day bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight & Review
  
• Review and oversee financial records and reports maintained by the bookkeeping resource
  
• Ensure accuracy in reconciliations, expense tracking, and reporting
  
• Provide monthly and quarterly financial summaries to the founders
  
• Financial Planning & Analysis
  
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for both businesses
  
• Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for optimization
  
• Support cash flow planning and fund management
  
• Compliance & Taxation
  
• Ensure timely tax filings and statutory compliance (India-focused)
  
• Liaise with tax advisors or regulatory authorities if required
  
• Support in evaluating international compliance needs where applicable
  
• Strategic Advisory
  
• Provide insights to support key business decisions
  
• Assist in structuring finances as businesses scale
  
• Offer inputs during audits, investor discussions, or funding prep (if applicable)
  

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–5+ years of post-qualification experience
  
• Prior experience working with startups, SMEs, or international clients is a strong plus
  
• Familiarity with Zoho Books (current system) and QuickBooks (previously used)
  
• Strong financial analysis and strategic thinking skills
  
• Comfortable overseeing junior finance resources
  
• Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and cloud-based accounting tools
  
• Independent, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks remotely
