The Facilities and Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient functioning of campus infrastructure, housekeeping, cafeteria, transport, and security services. The role ensures high-quality maintenance, operational compliance, event coordination, and service standards across departments, working closely with vendors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance of civil, electrical, plumbing, ETP, WTP, STP, HVAC, and other facility systems
- Supervise support staff and contractors to ensure quality and timely execution of tasks
- Oversee campus cleanliness, pest control, and maintenance schedules
- Lead building projects, refurbishments, and facility upgrades
- Handle petty cash, budgeting, AMC contracts, and internal audits
- Coordinate school events and ensure required facilities and housekeeping support
- Supervise food services, ensuring quality, hygiene, and student/staff satisfaction
- Oversee security operations, staff deployment, performance evaluation, and emergency response
- Manage transport operations, vehicle maintenance, compliance, and staff performance
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution
- Strong knowledge of facilities systems, housekeeping, catering, and utilities
- Excellent project management, supervisory, and negotiation skills
- Experience in handling QMS, audits, procurement, and vendor management
- High integrity and ability to manage multiple departments efficiently
