Job description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and book closure for real estate projects
  • Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for projects and business units
  • Monitor project costs, revenues, cash flows, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, RERA, and other applicable regulations
  • Coordinate and manage statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and group audits
  • Oversee direct and indirect taxation, including GST returns, TDS, and income tax filings
  • Strengthen and maintain internal controls, SOPs, and governance frameworks
  • Support management with financial analysis, feasibility studies, and decision support
  • Review contracts, agreements, and commercial terms from a finance and risk perspective
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, banks, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
  • MBA (Finance) – Preferred

Experience

  • 12–18 years of post-qualification experience
  • Prior experience in real estate, infrastructure, construction, or large corporate environments
  • Strong exposure to project accounting and multi-entity operations
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
