Position: Senior Linux Administrator

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

Experience: 3 to 10 years

Role Objective: To be part of core infrastructure team managing all Linux related servers & operating systems.

Certified Senior Executive who has experience in managing Linux distribution servers for fintech companies understanding the sensitivity of 99.999% uptime.

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Administration role for Linux / BSD / Open-source operating systems.

BSC, B.E or equivalent degree in Information technology or Computer Science with minimum 50%.

Operating Systems:

• Red Hat
• CentOs
• Ubuntu
• VM Ware
• KVM

Support:

• Log Analysis
• Ensure high availability
• Liaise for security aspect
• Patch & upgrade management
• Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls

Storage Technology:

• RAID
• SAN
• NAS
• Linux command line interface & shell scripting
• Backup Management
• Object based storage implementation

Debugging & Analytics:

• Mantis, Jira, Bug Reporting etc.
• MS Excel
• Dashboard & reporting

Others:

• Tracking requests
• Sound reading ability
• Detail oriented with focus on accuracy
• Independent worker
• Cross functional collaboration

Other Desired Skills:

• Config tools experience like Ansible, Puppet or similar.
• RHCE, LPIC or similar
• Nagios / Zabbix or similar
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, etc.
