Job Summary

Gatim is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The role involves maintaining financial records, assisting in bookkeeping, handling invoices, and supporting compliance and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping
• Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records
• Prepare and process invoices, bills, and vouchers
• Support GST-related work including data preparation and filings
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
• Assist in maintaining accounts payable and receivable
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for account-related queries
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Assist senior accountant in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support audits and compliance requirements

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Understanding of GST and statutory compliance (preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred)
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime is an added advantage

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Freshers with relevant academic background may also apply

Working Conditions

Full-time, office-based role

Monday to Saturday working
