Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Astronomy/Space Teacher position based in Delhi, India. The role involves designing and delivering engaging lesson plans on astronomy and space science to diverse age groups. Responsibilities include conducting educational workshops, leading stargazing sessions, and providing interactive training for students, families, and other visitors. The teacher will also collaborate with other facilitators to enhance course offerings and ensure participants have a hands-on, enriching learning experience.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Lesson Planning, Education, and developing structured course content
• Proven skills in Teaching and Training across various age groups
• Effective Communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire learners
• A passion for astronomy and space science, with the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible lessons
• Relevant experience in education, science communication, or outreach programs
• Background in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or related fields is a strong advantage
• Enthusiasm for outdoor activities, observing the night sky, and experiential learning
