Position: Digital Marketing Associate (Intern)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Associate (Intern) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing and a keen interest in SEO practices. They will work closely with our marketing team to improve website performance and optimize content to drive traffic and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Ecommerce SEO: Assist in optimizing ecommerce product pages and categories for better visibility and search rankings.

Image SEO: Optimize images for search engines, including file naming, alt text, and file compression for site performance.

Keyword Research: Conduct extensive keyword research to identify high-value search terms and opportunities for content optimization.

On-Page SEO: Help implement best practices for on-page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and internal linking.

Off-Page SEO: Support link-building strategies, outreach efforts, and off-page optimization to increase domain authority.

Technical SEO: Identify and address technical issues such as site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawl errors using tools like Google Search Console.

Proficiency in Excel: Use Excel to manage SEO data, create reports, and track progress on SEO initiatives.

Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and report on key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.

Must Haves :

Own Laptop: Candidate must carry and work on their personal laptop.

Communication Skills: Must be fluent and confident in English—both written and verbal.

Affinity Towards Fashion: Should have a genuine interest in the fashion industry and its digital landscape.

Basic SEO Knowledge: Must have foundational understanding of SEO principles and tools.

Excel Proficiency: Must be comfortable using Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis.

Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data, draw insights, and contribute to strategy.

Willingness to Learn: Eager to grow in the digital marketing and SEO field through hands-on experience.

Qualifications:

Strong interest in digital marketing and SEO.

Basic knowledge of SEO principles and tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Enthusiasm for learning and applying new skills.
