Security Operations Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to build AI systems that reason through real-world security incidents — and we need experienced SOC analysts to make it happen.

Your expertise in threat detection, alert triage, and incident response will directly shape how next-generation AI understands and navigates modern security operations. This is a rare opportunity to influence frontier AI from the inside, without leaving your area of expertise.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — incidents, alerts, and investigation workflows — to evaluate how AI systems reason through them
Classify alert severity, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
Review AI-generated detection logic and investigation outputs for accuracy and real-world alignment
Validate that AI responses reflect how skilled analysts actually detect, triage, and respond to threats
Provide structured feedback that directly improves AI model performance in security contexts
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations roles
Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage processes, and investigation workflows
Sharp instinct for separating true security signals from noise and false positives
Able to articulate your reasoning clearly in written form
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

Experience with threat hunting, malware analysis, or digital forensics
Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or the Cyber Kill Chain
Background working across multiple SIEM or SOAR platforms
Interest in AI systems and how they're trained and evaluated
